The Woodlands

If you are looking for a quiet yet not so far getaway, The Woodlands is the place. I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands at Hughes Landing, and it was a top-notch hotel. A balcony view of Lake Woodlands and a beautiful pool that overlooks the city. I had visited the Woodlands for a special occasion and the hotel accommodated us very well upon arrival.

STAY AT THE WOODLANDS

Walking distance from the cutest shops and one of the best sushi restaurants I have eaten at, The Blue Fish. The Blue Fish (Home of the Original AHI Tower) sits on the lake and has patio seating available. I ordered the Caterpillar Roll and EBI, it was exceptional. On the back side of this restaurant was Hughes Landing. Hughes Landing is a beautiful stroll around the lake featuring art sculptures and restaurants. They also offer live music by the pavilion.
